What's a PINRA?
PINRAs are Participant-Initiated Non-RID Activities. If you're planning on attending a conference or workshop that's not sponsored by an RID Sponsor, you can request CEUs by completing a PINRA Request Form and paying a flat fee of $25.
The request must be approved prior to attending the activity.

PINRA requests must meet two criteria:
1) The event is not related to interpreting or not likely to be sponsored by RID.
2) The event has been approved for continuing education by an organization such as the American Teacher's Association, National Board for Certified Counselors, etc.
